For Artists

Funding for Artists

All of our funding opportunities can be found under:

There are two funds in particular that are of interest for artists; the Project Fund and the Quick Response Grant.

Both of these funds have an Individual category that artists can apply for if an opportunity for skills development arises.

PROJECT FUND

Individual - up to $10,000 or up to $15,000 above the 26th parallel/very remote

This is available for individual artists or artsworkers from regional and remote Western Australia who have identified a unique professional development opportunity. This could include (but is not limited to) a mentorship, internship, fellowship or a form of training in their chosen art form. Individuals can be emerging or professional but must show a dedication to their chosen artform.

For more information, read about the Project Fund here.

QUICK RESPONSE GRANT

Individual - up to $1,500

This program provides support for professional development opportunities for individual artists and artsworkers in regional Western Australia. The program enables creative people to take advantage of an extraordinary professional arts opportunity that has presented itself at the last minute and needs to be responded to quickly.
