Touring > Louder
The Louder Contemporary Music Program provides funding to support organisations to extend their existing original contemporary music program to other regions in Western Australia.
Apply for up to $25,000 to cover the cost of professional fees, travel, accommodation, marketing and administration.
Louder aims to support live original contemporary music by:
- Developing regional audiences.
- Developing the skills of regional musicians
- Developing an effective regional WA touring circuit
- Ensuring regional people have access to professional performances
- Encouraging and supporting contemporary music organisations in coordinating regional activity.
Previous recipients of Louder funding include WA Music Industry Association (WAM), Tetrafide Percussion, JazzWA, Nova Ensemble, KULCHA and Fairbridge Music Program.
The Louder program is supported by the Department of Culture and the Arts.
LOUDER Contemporary Music Program 2012
Country Arts WA is currently inviting organisations to put forward a project concept to be considered for the 2012 round, for projects occurring between May and December 2012.
Organisations may apply for a maximum $25,000. Please read through the Guidelines above to ensure your organisation is eligible to apply.
Applications close on Friday, 16 March 2012.
All potential applicants to LOUDER must attend a concept meeting with Country Arts WA's Touring Project Officer to discuss their project concept. Concept meetings will be held between 13 and 17 February 2012 at the Country Arts WA office or via teleconference.
