For Communities
Performing Arts
Country Arts WA can assist community groups to gain access to professional performing arts in a variety of ways. The touring team are always available to help you to access any of the Performing Arts Touring programs.
Shows on the Go
The Shows on the Go program provides subsidised tours of professional performing arts productions to regional and remote Western Australia. Every year, 2 to 4 tours are made available to community groups across the state for a performance fee between $2,000 and $7,000 per show.

Touring Menu
Each year Country Arts WA produces the Annual Touring Menu, listing performing arts shows that are available for touring in the following year. Country Arts WA asks regional community members, Local Governments, community presenters and venues to vote for the shows they would most like to see.
The votes are used to determine the Shows on the Go program.
The Touring Menu can also be used by regional communities as a year-round arts directory listing artists and performers who are available for activities in regional WA throughout the year.

Share the Risk
Share the Risk aims to reduce the risk to the community group presenting performing arts events by underwriting some of the costs. If the presentation of the event results in a financial loss, Share the Risk provides the security for a community presenter to guarantee the payment of performance fees and touring costs.
Shows Touring to Schools
Even if your school happens to be in a remote or regional area you can still access professional performing arts activities by companies such as Barking Gecko Theatre Company, Spare Parts Puppet Theatre, Yirra Yaakin Aboriginal Corporation and Buzz Dance Theatre.
The Regional Schools touring program aims to ensure that students throughout the State benefit from exposure to professional performing arts.
